West Ham at home Sunday 13th April 2pm

Dust ourselves off , make a few changes & get the job done please lads.

Ali & Bradley the minimum changes I expect to see. Elliot for Szoboszlai too please.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I’d like to see a 4-2-3-1 with Grav and Endo as the two, Cody/Elliott/Salah then Chiesa up front. Macca and Sobo on the bench with a view to coming on for the last 20 mins.
    Never knowingly optimistic

Think i'd rather go all out for the home games, mess about with a changed squad for the away games.

For the away games, keep the same formation, but yes, please, use the squad. Give Endo a run, give Elliott a chance to shine, use Nunez for 60 mins and then bring Diogo on against tired legs and minds, and not the other way round. Even give Salah a rest, let Chiesa have a go.

It's one game a week from here on. So I expect minimal rotation.

Bradley to come back in and a toss of a coin between Gakpo and Diaz imo

Would be nice to see some rotation based on form though. If we sew this up early doors it will be interesting to see if he still plays what he thinks is his strongest team.
          Really?

My suggested lineup was a tactical rotation. It has been a while since we’ve genuinely played well, to the standard we are capable of. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

I’m pretty sure we used to have these little set plays with Firmino, Mane and Salah, often with Trent or Robbo overlapping, like little building blocks to help our overall play. Being pre-arranged the runs and the passes were co-ordinated and looked pretty slick. This season, too often Virgil does a long diag to Mo and he is on his own and if he can get past the left back he can’t run away from him.

The shorter pass to mo will often see him get pressed by the defender, but we know that's going to happen. So mo let's the defender chase him back towards our goal for 5-10 yards then he plays the ball back to who passed and he can then sprint into the space vacated by the defender and get a return pass to run onto.
Trouble is, teams have seen this all year and now don't chase him back too far and concede the space.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                Injury Update:

Alisson Becker: After suffering a concussion while playing for Brazil three weeks ago, Alisson has been training as normal but has not yet passed the protocols to return to action. He is expected to be ready for the match against West Ham on Sunday.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: Alexander-Arnold has missed the last three games due to an ankle injury. A return is planned before the end of the month, but it will depend on his progress in training.

Joe Gomez: has missed the last 11 games due to injury, and his return is expected in the coming weeks depending on his recovery after hamstring surgery.
Regarding Gomez, do players recover to the same level after hamstring surgery?

Generally no reason they wouldnt as long as treated correctly and fully healed. Gomez may be an exception though.

Such a shame he's has had the injuries he has had. Such a talent.

Jo relies on his pace & without it he’d be a mid table club player at best so here’s hoping he makes a full recovery.

Can be in the mind though if it is a bad pull. I think it was Owen who said he was never willing to stretch quite so much after his injury, and Fernando Torres was never the same after his.

It wasn’t a hamstring injury that did it for Torres. It was his knee, a torn Meniscus.

In his book he blamed hamstring injuries in 08/09 for everything that followed.
