      Best since 1987 perhaps. Although, in 1987, they were all gob smackingly excellent attacking players. Like signing 4 Wirtzs over 2 windows. Aldridge, Houghton, Barnes, Beardsley. We tried to top it in the next summer window, but only find some geezer called Rush.

              Looks like a player that won’t back down. Happy to get stuck in and is a real tough fighter. Started the game with a couple good tackles and built on that.

                I saw someone saying he always tackles with square button

                He looks a warrior. Again, seemed to be coming into a bit of positional understanding. Very encouraging.

                              I was underwhelmed by him, in the Bournemouth and Newcastle games- but thought he was class defensively today. More of that, please!

                                Yeah he had looked a bit iffy in some of the previous games, but much better yesterday.
                                The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
