Being linked with Bayern Munich. On the bbc website.

Surely this is bull**** and lfc will surely knock any bid back. But maybe this is out there because him and his agent want assurances

Rio is going to spend some time with the England squad as they prepare for the World Cup. I’m not sure if he will play in the friendliest but it will a good experience for him being away and training with the senior squad and Tuchel.

Throw something different and unexpected at them there isn’t much to lose to be honest.

I’d like to see a similar team to today. Frimpong and Mo looked good together down the right snd Robertson helps Rio a lot with the guidance he gives him. Ekitike in for Gakpo, shame Isak hasn’t had a few more games to be able to start this one.

One of the things I like about Rio so much compared to so many wide players nowadays is he is willing and able to cut back in or take the defender on the outside and cross the ball. Looks very comfortable on both feet. Too many players playing as inverted wingers just use their preferred foot only.

    Ha ha ha that
Two ineffective players, except that the opposition marks only one of them.

    Ho ho ho

He doesn't have anything at all that warrants either the 10 or CF.

    Ekitike centre.
    Frimpong, dom or chiesa right
Rio or chiesa left. Or ekitike if isak comes back this season.
    Chiesa? Ha, ha, ha

That is a horrible, triggering expression. Shame on you.

I agree & he really looked gassed towards the end of his stint but I’d still rather see Wirtz on the left for an hour than Cody & then bring Rio on against tiring legs.

    Shocking idea for me.
Like I said I don't agree with it but that is what I understand to be the logic behind it.

The reality of the situation is he is one of 14 outfield players the manager has available and trusts to start plus 3 that are regarded as squad players. That is a wafer thin squad, and we need to find ways to get what we can out of it hence why I get the suggestions even if I don't agree

Big difference with him is he’s happy going on the outside or cutting back in. Comfortable on both feet which will make him difficult to predict.
