I thought Kerkez was but he really doesn’t look as quick as I expected

              Frimpong yes 💯

I meant in attacking areas. Gakpo and salah are 2 of the slowest wide players in europe.

I saw Damsgaard run easily past Wirtz yesterday

Kerkez legs are only 9 inches long, someone described him to me as, he looks like he's running with his trousers around his ankles.

I couldnt watch the game but followed it via here and social media. This was a no win situation for Slot, we’ve a lot of injuries and clearly we need to prioritize the league so he had to rotate heavily. By going so we’ve lost again and it’s 6 losses in 7 games….. pressure ratcheted up even more.

Villa is now huge, Madrid midweek with Mbappe bang in form and the away to Haaland and co. We could conceivably not win any of those and then what? He must be on thin ****ing ice right now, he didn’t even do the pre game press conference for FFS or send one of his team.

I was one of the chumps delighted that we’d “won the transfer window” but Richard Hughes had 500m to spend and we look gash. No DM, no senior CB, no pace up front and no Diaz replacement. The players do not profile like hiw we played last season. We look like Chelsea of recent seasons and that is shocking.

How long can this go own before he gets chopped?

Quite a while I think. Losing the next three won't do it imo.

The club won't rush a managerial appointment, and I don't they'll go for an interim manager after last time. And if they are being honest, they probably can't blame it all on Slot, with others at the club having a big role in recruitment.

Liverpool have lost more games than any other side in Europe’s big 5 leagues since 27th September.

Add in a team like Forest under Dyche. So it’s Villa, Madrid, City then Forest. I don’t think there is a win there to be honest and don’t know how the club would react after the big investment. I don’t know what to think right now and what the answer is.

Massive investment and intense analytics mean this will all be driven by a plan and data. There’s no way the transfers were done on a whim. There has to be a plan to it that would include who plays where, how many minutes they’d be expected to play mapped out across the season. Numerous contingencies. The data they farm on this kind of stuff with this level of investment is huge. The problem is - Arne is then supposed to get a tune out of them, based on the plans that have been laid agreed and that’s not happening so the pressure on him to generate a return on this is massive.

It’s hard to believe he’s not under extreme pressure. I think he needs at least two wins out of the next three games. Or at least to avoid any defeats (three draws).

Regardless of the league win last season or us not wanting to replace him mid season, if we keep going like this.. we may not have a choice. If he has lost the dressing room, then he's a goner. Huge few games and every one of those teams know exactly how to beat us.

Truth is we are caught somewhere between 2 teams this season, Last season our team was built around Salah as the creative/goalscoring force. Surely the long term plan for 'next season' was to build the team around Wirtz as the creative force and Isak as the goalscorer, at the moment we are stuck somewhere between the team we were and the team we want to be, the new players haven't settled and the old players have lost form, but we are trying to keep everyone happy and it isn't working.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
