Or I wonder if Leoni will get a go?? Seriously doubt it but you never know. Maybe from the bench.

Just hope it's not Endo to be honest. Him at right back against Bournemouth was a cluster
Jones would be more disciplined and sit in more while Dom is way more athletic and can get up and down the pitch like no one else. Either of those two ahead of Endo.

We’ve seen Jones play there and do well. We haven’t seen Dom there but I’d trust him to do a job anywhere. He’s a great option to have cover multiple positions.

Both could also help bulk up midfield and keep the ball when in possession playing from RB. Might be useful against the Newcastle midfield.

Dom played there in preseason a few times, depends on if you watched PS i guess. He was capable and has a passing range from deep.

I was thinking more in a competitive match. I have no issues with him playing there. Think he’d do a great job.

I agree about his longer passing. In that deeper midfield role he’s played some lovely long passes.

I’d probably start Robbo for this one and bring Kerkez on only if needed. Kerkez has looked miles off the pace so far

Yeah I’m inclined to agree. Kerkez doesn’t mind a tough tackle but the cool head of Robbo might be better here.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

In all of the one game we've played?
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Not keen on the idea of playing a midfielder at right-back against Gordon. We have Josh Davidson (19) or Terence Miles (21) who are both right-backs. Are either worth giving a chance on Monday? Does Kerkez, Timmy or Robbo have a right foot? Could Leoni play in a 3-4-3 with Kerkez and Dom in the 4 as wing-backs?
                    Never knowingly optimistic

Maybe now Grav is back he’ll go for a back 3 with Dom or Jones as a wing back like we saw in preseason?

Gordon won’t be playing out wide. He’s their stand in 9 right now.

Annoying we're already having such troubles at right back, Jones or Dom will hopefully play there. Don't like the idea of a youngster there, away at Newcastle tbh. I was leaning for Robbo, but now I wan't Kerkez back, Robbo didn't exactly cover himself in glory either.

                            Alisson
                            Dom - Konate - Virg - Kerkez
                            Gravenberch - Mac Allister
                            Salah - Wirtz - Gakpo
                            Ekitke

I think Gravenberch could help Dom out, but either Dom or Jones can plug it until Bradley or Gomez come on for Wirtz at the 65th minute. Hopefully it will be 3-1 then and we'll shore up.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd be shocked if he picked a youngster there in this type of game, but especially so given the likely atmosphere. Options are Szoboszlai, Jones or Endo, but the latter would be a mistake
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Newcastle are going to be all guns blaring for this one, if we don’t match it we could be in trouble. Really high chance of another 4-3 or 5-4 I reckon.
