100% going to be feisty, it'll be in the air as the fans will take ithe Isak stuff personallyOriginally posted by peterbread View PostI still thinking they’ll come in too emotional and fired up and lose their structure or composure. You know Joelinton and Guimarães will try and get stuck in but might over do it and play into our hands.

FFS, he'll be needed tonight.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostLots of Twitter rumours that Macca is out tonight. Supposedly wasn’t seen coming off the team bus and his partner is due to give birth v soon
If it is birth related, maybe he'll just travel separately. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Depends on how close the birth is though. Grav missed the Charity shield as his partner was giving birth/gave birth.Originally posted by RedReet View PostFFS, he'll be needed tonight.

Being there for the birth of his child has to come first for him.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

Aye, I'm hoping either the birth isn't imminent and he's just been given some extra time with his wife, or the opposite, baby pops out early and he makes it up on time.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostDepends on how close the birth is though. Should sign contract saying they'll only make babies in November. Or at the very least, have the decency to skip the birth. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

When I read that Gravenberch's wife/partner had their baby around the time of the charity shield I did wonder if the red card at the end of the season might have been 'tactical' having some extra time off around the due date
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
