Well, happy with the 3 points, but we made that hard for ourselves. I would say we played decently, but that passage of play for their 2nd - I won't make it sound better by calling it defending - has left a sour taste for me. You won't see it on the highlights, but it was lazy, unambitious and feckless passing around at the back that just created pressure for us.

Result is all that matters, and this ability to keep going to the end and grinding out wins, a la Leverkusen of a few seasons back, is something that will breed a supreme confidence imo.

very much so. Something isn't quite clicking but we have so much quality to win games when we aren't playing great. Would be nice for us to kick into gear sooner rather than later as we will come unstuck.

I absolutely love the fact that we aren’t EVER happy with a draw. ****ing relentless.

Be nice to get one across the line with a few goals to spare BUT weÂ’ve been involved in some cracking matches already.
