They were so deep at the end. The way we’ve been going at teams in the 90+ the winner felt almost inevitable.

And we shouldn't forget that their first goal was very dubious.

Even though they were missing players, they are v well drilled and work so hard. Koke made a big difference when he came on and we lost control in midfield. It was also v annoying that they still had another chance after we scored

Anyway, we’ve won again and deserved to do so
Yeh from the shot - and that can happen, but watch the build up before we concede the throw in. We should never have conceded the throw in the first place.
        Really?

It was also really poor from Bradley from the throw in.

Yeah he seems to have these positional lapses from time to time and gets caught wrong side of his winger.

not really sure on Bradley long term to be honest. I know that sound harsh but he does have a few too many lapses and seems quite injury prone.

Probably get more space against tired legs too.

No Liverpool player had more touches in the opp. box (7), created more chances (5) or created more big chances (2) than Florian Wirtz against Atletico Madrid.

I get that, but I'm so convinced by this - that the throw in would not have happened in the first place had we not been fart arsing about at the back. We gave them that opportunity - seriously watch the build up to the throw in and ask yourself what we are trying to do (you probably have, in fairness..)

People are expecting prime Messi from the get go? Lol no.

Look at Grav's first season then compare and contrast with last season. Hopefully we don't have to wait an entire season before Wirtz comes good but it will happen. He's just too damn talented not to!

Love the crowd giving it back to Simeone after this one.

I hope he starts on the bench vs the Ev on Saturday as they’d celebrate crippling him like they’d won the league, not that they know how that feels mind you.

At that stage of the game, we were focused on making angles for a hoof.

Does UEFA review VAR decisions and give feedback on them, similar to the PL? Ultimately it didn't affect the outcome, but it would be interesting to know the thought process behind the award of their first goal.
