Pure garbage. Bad enough I had to watch the team **** every ball, but my broadcast must have had palace's crowd up stupid high because I could barely hear the ocmmentators. I noticed their support end were all men non stop singing. Makes me wonder if that was a plan from the owners for extra noise, maybe discount tickets or something. And Lacroux at the end did the Klopp 3 fist pump with the crowd. Ref refused to blow the whistle till they scored too.

We had that defeat to Forest about this time last season. Squad and Slot need to focus to get past this and find that defensive security we relied upon for the middle part of last season.
We’ve rode our luck waaaay too much this season.
Defence has been awful at times, I suppose you can make the case for changes in the fullback areas having an effect on that to some extent, but Konate has either been excellent or ****ing dire. With only Gomez as a backup option now there is little chance of there being any change of personnel, we desperately need to bring in a CB in January, not sure if that is Guehi or someone else but something has to happen. But we have yo grt through months of football before that so so.e tweaks to the system are needed somewhere

The way we are playing is diabolical. Yes, they're deep, but it's one side to the other in midfield, back to the CB, almost play ourselves into trouble, back to sideways passing on the half way line, and if we still have the ball, get the right back to play a hopeful cross to the goalkeeper. No finesse, not clever play through the lines, not dribbling and beating a player, no balls to feet in the box, **** all movement into spaces that do appear, too many long balls, it's absolute dross. All we have is set prices, fortunate breaks in the box and moments of genius from top players. The game plan sucks.Last edited by Kenneth; 27-09-25, 05:24 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Always been the same, we've struggled to break down teams whose best attribute is a speedy counter. Our best attribute is a speedy counter yet we're rarely in the position to use itOriginally posted by Kenneth View PostBad time to say this, but I really don't think slot knows what to do with the new players. On paper we have the best attack in europe and they look clueless against anyone who defends deep. Only Isak looks like an improvement on last year after all that transfer business. Yes it's early, but there's no margin for patience in this league.

Isak isn't fit, same with Frimpong, Kerkez is getting there Ekitike has been good, his red card could have proved costly today though. Wirtz is the issue he's not up to speed and we don't really seem to know where he fits or how to best use himThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Have they?Originally posted by labourRed View PostWow, some have lost their head after the first defeat of the season.
We've been lucky in every game. Suggests a pattern and sooner or later we need to put in some proper performances and play like champions.
I didn't understand signing wirz and I still don't. He's talented just doesn't fit into this system.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
