Agree with most of this - especially the part about giving it to Christmas. Everyone has a lot of faith in the Liverpool brains trust and it’s still early days

1) Palace at Palace was always going to be difficult, with their defence which is superb - with that in mind, there were times when we won possession and instead of playing with up tempo pace (e.g. play it with more speed and directly into their six yard box - take more creative risks), we just prancied/recycled the ball around to the backline (annoyed especially when we were already a goal down) and gave them the chance to get back into their defensive shape...

2) Alisson saved us from further embarrassment, no doubt we should have lost by at least a goal or 2.

3) As others have eluded above, this was coming lads, a first defeat of the season - we deserved it, don't kid yourselves.

4) I think it's time Salah starts from the bench, he definitely needs to suck it up and the management needs to grow some balls and just do it.

5) with 4) in mind, we need Wirtz to be the main creative attacking focal point and give him the chance to run through him.

The way we are playing is diabolical. Yes, they're deep, but it's one side to the other in midfield, back to the CB, almost play ourselves into trouble, back to sideways passing on the half way line, and if we still have the ball, get the right back to play a hopeful cross to the goalkeeper. No finesse, not clever play through the lines, not dribbling and beating a player, no balls to feet in the box, **** all movement into spaces that do appear, too many long balls, it's absolute dross. All we have is set prices, fortunate breaks in the box and moments of genius from top players. The game plan sucks.

It's all so slow and predictable and makes these defensive teams jobs so much easier. Our passing is embarrassing at times. They genuinely look like they have no idea what they're supposed to be doing with it.

The back and forth passing from left to right, back to Ali, back to Konate and then hoof it into the box just seems like something a team that doesn't quite know what they're doing would do. Keep the ball and hope something happens.

Its a very dysfunctional setup and tbh the pressure should be mounting on Slot. He's mouthing off and throwing players under the bus, well buddy your game plan is ****e and we've scrapped through games all season so far with late winners papering over giant cracks.

We were lucky not to be 5-0 down at HT yesterday. Was an absolute ****show
