Slot locked very flat in that interview. I don’t think I’ve seen him like that before.

I'm more shocked that the bulk of you on the forum thought that that game was going to be a cake walk. It's a horrible place to play, hugely intimidating for any player regardless of how good they are plus it's disrespectful to Galatasaray. We got we deserved at the end of the day. Slot will sort it I'm sure but the team need some much needed support at the moment.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

100%. I’ve watched football at their old ground Ali Sami Yen as well as Fener’s ground and Besiktas. You need to recalibrate your understanding of loud with those places. I must admit I didn’t think Gala would be as good as they were but I can’t remember the last time I saw them play so there is that.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI'm more shocked that the bulk of you on the forum thought that that game was going to be a cake walk. The players and the manager look drained of energy. We need a big bounce back. Sometimes a **** performance can be the catalyst for a turnaround. Something certainly needs to change. It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I agree with the general sentiment. Palace for example passed us off the park in that first half.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt's crazy how casual we are. Even in injury time, we have the chance to get the ball in the box and go back to konate and kerkes on the half way line.
I watched Fulham Vs villa at the weekend and the level of passing from Fulham (who lost) was leagues ahead of us, all through the team. It's not just that we've dropped from our previous level, we barely look like a PL side in terms of our passing and skill level on the ball. If the problem is too many new players, play fewer new players.
But how is that by having new players. Sure they might take time to settle in, but they can all play, we know it, we've seen it. It's why they spent so much on them. It's the simple things we just don't seem to be doing. Simple passes aren't hitting targets, movement off the ball is basically zero. WTF are they all doing at training?
What we seemingly lack is a game plan or style of play. None of them have any idea where they're supposed to be doing. Its obvious. And that's not just the new guys doing that. And that all comes down to Slot IMO. He's concerning me tbh.
His man management is concerning me too. His treatment of some players (Chiesa for example) is a disgrace and he's quickly heading down the path of other arrogant Dutch managers that think they know everything and playing favourites. Blaming particular people for things and throwing players under a bus in interviews. It's not good for a manager to be doing that in public. In the changeroom, sure, I'd hope he's tearing strips off them. But to the media, just STFU."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
