I don't get the sudden fascination with starting Chiesa. The guy has barely played over the last 2 years and perfomed ok against a championship side.

The old midfield three are back together

Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Isak.

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Endo, Wirtz, Chiesa, Jones, Ekitike, Robertson, Frimpong.

I dont either, tbh. He seems lumbering to me

Yup - has been the cause of a lot of our problems this season so far

              Good bench

I was actually hoping Wirtz would get a start here

                Arguably full strength. Sensible.

Id mabe play Ekitike in Gakpo's position (or Salah), but Gakpo can drop deeper if we need midfield support.

Good options up front if we need a plan b

Can't say I'm looking forward to this one, but at least we ought to see a bit of end to end football, so we might catch them with a quick turnover.

Only two new players in so that could help find some form with a more settled team. Let’s get Mac Allister back to some form and the press working right. The midfield three can hopefully get control of the game.

Plenty of options off the bench.

Much stronger midfield, on paper at least

Only surprise is that Robbo didn't start too but yeah on paper that looks much better. We'll see how the lads play, gonna be a tough game.

I think Kerkez has done alright, certainly enough to keep his place.

I feel for Wirtz but it's just not happening for him. It could be a good game to come into as it's a good time (hopefully) to play Chelsea.

                              Some hit that.

                              Nobody getting in his way.

FFS 1-0 to Chavs, good goal to be fair
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
