Well, nice to get 3 points, but still many things unresolved. I think the same performance against the likes of Palace would have resulted in defeat, but signs of life are welcome. We have some hard decisions to make about old favourites and we shouldn't be shy of doing it. But the oldest favourite - pressing - and indeed picking up the second ball - I don't think that tactic ever gets old and we need to reacquaint ourselves with it. Saw a little of that again this evening, so slightly more optimistic.Really?

Good 3 points and much better performance, Good to have Gravenberch back, both Salah and MacAllister looked alot better than they have in recent weeks, benefited from having Robbo at LB as well IMOThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Controlling games and keeping it solid defensively are the things to sort out. This team scores in every game and with a more solid base will score more.

Welcome back Mac Allister. Looked very confident as the game went on. That will make a massive difference now.
And a mention the three senior leaders who all stood up and played well tonight. Robertson looked very good, Mo finding some form and VVD his usual calm controlled self.
The balance of the team was so much better with a proper three man midfield and one always seemed to be staying back.

I spent this afternoon with a spurs mate. So I saw their Chelsea game.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostWell, nice to get 3 points, but still many things unresolved. Their pressing was next level. That said when it's good they get the plaudits, but the injuries are a real issue.

I don't know how but the authorities need to get a grip on corners. It's embarrassing from both teams. Full on grappling from defence and attack. It's literally impossible to know who's done what. It's a ****ing joke. Needs eradicating.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
