The big difference is we got results when for a lot of the time we weren't that great. And we kept getting results when other teams faltered. Now we're not getting the results, and other teams are. As the reigning champions everyone wants to beat us, yet the players don't seem to relish battling against this competitive edge that other teams show. Which is why I'm not confident that the players will suddenly spring into action, with or without a change of Manager. I think the players are the biggest problem we've got at the moment, followed by the recruitment team that appears to have spent an awful lot of money on players that are providing not much value. -

I too don’t understand where those game changing tactical tweaks from last season have gone!
Today was more understandable using the all out attack approach…last quarter of the game and trying to take all 3 points following a difficult period. Much rather that then settle for a draw.
Chelsea also lost today. Most would say that was unexpected, given they have been in fairly decent form. City scraped a win yesterday. Only Arsenal seem to be picking up win after win at the moment. Point is we didn’t lose and ended the game trying to win at least.
I hope circumstances change for us soon and we’re back to winning ways.
