That's just the scorer I believe. Ie you can't score with your hand or arm even if accidental. This was just your basic deliberate/accidental, natural/unnatural position call. Seeing as it was headed on to his arm from a yard away, it was never handball.

The incorrectly disallowed goal really killed our momentum and encouraged inter. But, we've done well overall, but need HT to calm down and come again. I think we should be able to get some joy on the counter if we get our house in order.

Solid first half performance, considering it’s an away CL game I think we’ve done well - shame we’re not 1-0 up.

Decent half, we were cruising until that goal that was a ****ing goal, got disallowed.

We looked threatening for spells and were able to put Inter under a lot of pressure, then when Inter had a prolonged good spell we were able to soak it up nicely and keep our shape.


Nice to see us closing down play as often as we did too. Again looks a continuation of what we were doing for a lot of the game against Leeds.

Inter being a quick passing team that can go up the gears also makes this a good work out for the weekend.

Definitely a drop off after the disallowed goal but kept it tight defensively. Maybe a bit of a case of low confidence coming in with a big decision going against them but plenty of positives. Regroup at halftime and come out and play like they did early on.

Less width but it's two players versus three. Teams play with one up top. Gomez isn't getting advanced and Robbo hasn't done well in the other half.

Refs need to understand the game, never a deliberate handball.
