Not been the all action game that it was billed as, but it’s been a solid and professional first half. Looks like slot has done his homework.

I like the setup without the ball with Wirtz and Szoboszlai in the middle. It’s stopping them building up from the back.

Playing well and moving the ball with a bit more pace when needed and looking very balanced tonight. Good control but that extra lift in tempo when the there’s a chance.

Yeah we’ve caused them issues in and out of possession. Ekitike drifting to left. Salah to inverted (inside right) Frimpong out wide right. Dom false 9 and Wirtz roaming.

Pleased with the result but not the performance. They are cutting us open too easily for my liking. It was a penalty imo, Ekitike marginally OS but apart from that not much to discuss.
