Because we were 2 up, Hugo is our our only fit CF and will start on Saturday, and Mo may well not.

Gomez played well and I thought Kerkez was really good tonight and continues to grow into the role. The defensive setup worked and it looked like Gravenberch dropped right back into the last line plenty of times which helped Frimpong bomb forward every chance he had as soon as we got the ball going forward. He’s fun to watch, just has to knock it past the defender he’s so fast.

But that line of 4 across the top really set up the win, stopped them playing and building anything and were so quick to make the most of the space in behind.

Yep more than happy with that 2nd half performance. The goal just before HT really gave us confidence to push on. Without a doubt that was Milos’s best game for us, Frimpong was great also as were both CB’s. I can’t really think of a bad performance except to say Mo is lucky to have stayed on. Possibly Arne was trying to help him find confidence or he really doesn’t rate Chiesa or Rio on the right. If we get a RB in Frimpong would be our best option in the wide right position by far.
