Qurabag doubled up on Salah, the Premier League clubs ignore him. Quite telling how far his star has fallen but we definitely have another few new ones. Just need to support them.

I feel Ekitike is more unpredictable than Torres? Torres felt more direct in a Mane sort of way. Ekitike seems to have a bit extra with his dribbling. He has a very high ceiling. Definitely a 30 goal a season man with the right setup. Certainly our best purchase in the summer.

We struggled badly until they scored. Flashes of decency but largely outplayed by a team that were more physical, aggressive and just seem faster across the board

Their goal was lucky, but deserved.

But then Ekitike and Wirtz, absolute ray of sunshine on a cloudy day

        Kerkez's pass was perfect

Salah stinking the place out, Gakpo anonymous, Dom wasted at RB

I'd like to see Ramsey/Endo/Jones on at RB, Dom moved to midfield and Wirtz taking Gakpo's LM/LW slot
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

I wonder what we eventually do with isak. I mean you don't pay £130m to not play him. You don't even entertain moving ekitike from the centre. So i don't see how this plays out. Strikers need runs of games to get in the groove, switching them in and out won't work. Sell isaz in the summer.

Legitimate question here but has Mo made 1 successful pass yet as I can’t recall one? I’d rather we gave Rio a run on the left & moved Gakpo to the right.

I think folk were harsh on kerkez. That goal squeezed under him, it happens.

                Yeah that's not on him.

It’s exciting to think what both Ekitike and Wirtz can do in a fully functioning team. The understanding between them is just getting better and better.

Same. It was also lucky as **** that it made it all the way to Gordon

Not sure if we will play two up front with wirtz as the 10.

Doubt we sell isak as we do need two 9 options.
The best would have been ekitike and semenyo, but.

Ekitike has never scored a hatrick at senior level apparently so today could be his first.

Isak has to adapt, as he looks a shadow of what Ekitike offers

True, but hes got time to close down Gordon and hes happy to stand off then throw a leg out. Before we bought him he showed great aggressive defending at Bournemouth, really smashing it to strikers and putting a foot in, but not so much now.

Yup Ekitike is doing what we signed Isak to do. If Isak can do what we signed Ekitike for, then all good. But I reckon the latter will move out left or right to accommodate Isak up top.
                              Really?

Nice to see some counter attacking football. Actually taking advantage of the situation and playing the ball quicker.
