Ekitike should be fresh & ready to go after being rested today. Nice to have Wirtz back & I hope to see Frimpong or Gomez at RB instead of wasting Dom so deep. I hope Gakpo playing most of the game tonight means he’ll be on the bench with either Rio or Wirtz on the left.

Totally welcome mate. I’ll watch it delayed based on what time I wake up. I’m over getting up early for disappointments.Originally posted by Sus View PostOoh thanks SB for the thread, didn’t realise we were the early game. Will adjust my evening accordingly!

Players in danger of missing the return leg at Anfield if they get a yellow card here
Liverpool have just Jones at risk currently, the midfielder having been shown a yellow against Galatasaray and Inter in the league phase.
However, Tuesday’s hosts have seven players who must watch their step.
Goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, the whole back four of Ismail Jakobs, Davinson Sanchez, Abdulkerim Bardakci and Roland Sallai, as well as striker Osimhen, are all just one yellow card away from a ban.
As is Dutch left-winger Noa Lang, who signed on loan in January having picked up two bookings in the league phase for his parent club, Napoli.
Every one of those seven started against Juventus in the last round, so manager Okan Buruk may have to rotate a couple if he wants to have his full-strength XI available at Anfield.
Of course, as always, a red card would also mean the guilty misses the next match. Galatasaray, with 26, have received more yellow cards in this season’s competition than any other team.

Huge game.
Id like to see Gomez at right back. More solid imo and more experienced but it will be a very hard choice for Arne of JoGo isn't able to play the full game.
Id like to see Wirtz play on the left......with 3 central midfielders of Grav, Mac and szoboslai.....
On the right wing, id like to see Frimpong but it'll be Salah..... with Ekitike up front.
Just do not want to see both Gakpo and Salah both start.

I think he realises it alright but his hands were tied with injuries to the likes of Frimpong, Bradley (which impacts frimpong use if CB was available) and Isak. With Rio, I think that they are correct not to break him by playing too much. In the past we have broken the likes of Bajcetic. Michael Owen the most famous one.
I am convinced that there was a 4222 formation being thought of when you look at our transfer dealings last summer. With width coming from full back positions.

I thought that was an odd one, usually you give your 2nd choice GK cup games especially if he has come in for a not insignificant fee. Also it would of got some minutes under his belt for this situation...Originally posted by kingfunk View PostMassive loss, the other lad is not up to it imo, little to no match time, not even trusted for the FA cup… better hope the defence is on their A game. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
