I feel that pace is essential from your RB if Mo is playing but if Frimpong replaces Mo it’s less essential for Curtis to be bombing forward on a regular basis. And even so Frimpong has the pace & the work rate to get back & help.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Plenty of pace out wide too plus they have some very good and underrated guys in their back line.

Don't think we can force the same sort of tempo against BHA as we did against Gala, but at the same time think you are spot on in that we need to with a higher tempo of work rate than we often do in PL games. We at the very least need to go toe to toe with whatever tempo they set and then if/when we match them that way let having some higher quality in certain positions make the difference.

Frimpong at RB does seem the obvious and smartest choice, then bring Gomez on there for the final 25 mins. Or go the other way around.

Agree about the RW spot too. Start with one of Chiesa or Rio and then bring the other on for the final 25 or so.

Szobo has to start in the middle. The BHA midfield just has too many guys that will run hard in it for us to not have our hardest running guy. Would also have Jones in the middle for us over MacAllister if we have Frimpong and Gomez sharing the RB spot. Defo more running and physicality in a Szobo/Jones/Grav trio than any CM trio containing MacAllister.
agree with everything here, I'm a bit nervous about this one to be honest. Awkward fixture, it's just really hard to know with Brighton, imo both teams will score and it's going to be a tough game and we really ****ing need the 3 points.

Looks like the same setup as midweek with Gakpo replacing Salah.

Frimpong at RB Szoboszlai in midfield. Gakpo and Wirtz playing narrow and the fullbacks providing the width.

I’m hoping it isn’t Szoboszlai at RB Frimpong RW Wirtz 10 Gakpo LW.

I just switched the TV on. I was listening to Gerard speaking about some of our players and the summer he was saying there’s rumours about other teams looking at someone, didn’t catch who was talking about? Szob?

                    Ekitike injured. Good one.

Nuts how much we spent on attackers in the summer and we've got Gakpo up front
                        Really?

We made a decent start and undid it with some sloppy play.

Once again, we can't pass the ball to a player properly, and give them possession high up the pitch, leading to a goal.
