    Great idea.
Very true and you're welcome. Another piece of sage advice for you us that seen as you appreciated that so much is, you could realise it's not really a big deal, just people's opinion on a forum about football and just keep in living your life to the fullest. On a roll so I am, here for any other advice or guidance mate.

Have a feeling that we might end up going to pens again against then.

Hell of an ask to beat them by two clear goals (to get that peno shoot out), but with the exception of the PSV game, we have been both pretty clinical and lucky (at the back) at Anfield in the CL this season so a two goal deficit, even against a team as good all over the pitch (but not in goal) as PSG, is not insurmountable imo .
We have also, with PSG away a notable exception, and City (though not the FA cup) we have been able to raise our level for the bigger games. Something I dislike as it is a sign of a lesser team but it might help us.

I think we are just too poorly coached and lacking the required fitness levels to go toe to toe with PSG. Hope we go with something similar to we know:

        Mama
        Frimpong Konate VVD Kerkez
        Gravenberch Szobo
        Salah Wirtz Rio
        Ekitike

Macca has been poor, I think something like this could work.
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Think that set up would cause problems for most teams save for PSG.

They are just too mobile and fluid in the centre to go witrh a two man midfield against them.

Think Jones into your line up instead of Salah makes more sense as you then have Grav, Jones and Szobo in the middle.

Shuffle Rio over to the right of a front three and though he would be a bit out of position leave Wirtz on the left.

          Frimpong or Gomez at RB.

Think to combat PSG you need three in the middle and you need some pace on each flank and at the very least a good workrate on each flank as PSG have full backs that attack almost to the same level as their wingers.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Any chance both Isak and Ekitike start this one, do we think?

            Wirtz
            Isak Ekitike

as a front three, with Wirtz floating all over behind the pair, and with a midfield three behind them for solidity?

Don’t think Isak is fit enough to start a game

I kinda agree on his fitness, but I think he is fit enough to start, but not make the 90 minutes. But bringing him on at the 60 minute mark, and at the same time removing the likes of Wirtz or Rio etc, is pointless, as those are the types of player that he needs to be linking up with. I just feel it would be better to use him from the start, with the proper starting 11, and then bring him off later.

Would be some result if we are still in the competition on Wednesday morning.

Id like to see.Rio start but I dont think he will.

Would be beautiful for Wirtz and/or Ekitike to grab this game by the bollocks and have a ****in go.

We need to score first. Obviously. If we do, then the crowd will go nuts.

I would start on the front foot. Full backs frimpong and kerkez. Double pivot of Mac and Gravy. And id be tempted to put a trio of Szob, Wirtz and Rio all behind Hugo. And they all rotate positions depending on how the game is going.
                    .

Bench then of salah, Isak, gakpo, Jones, Gomez, robbo looks useful for most scenarios.

                            No way Isak starts imo.

Would be a beautiful story if he came on and got the winner though!!!

I just hope we ****in leave it all out there. Get into these cunts from the off and let them ****in know that we are here.

Get right into them and make it really physical. Robertson needs to get Kerkez to do what he did against Barca and Messi. Niggle and wind them up, try something to unsettle them.

Big tackles from the start to fire up the crowd and get things going. Be relentless and give it everything. Don’t let them settle and get comfortable.

You never know how teams will react when you get into them.

As much as I want Robbo to start, I'd prefer he starts against the blue****e
I make no apologies, this is me
