I’m hoping it’s a 4312. Plenty of width from the fullbacks and cover from midfield. And having 2 upfront isn’t very common so how do the 2 cb’s deal with it and Wirtz in behind. And then you still have a real solid three in midfield.

I think if everyone settled in well and we were lucky with injuries, then this might have been the plan all along

I'm not sure I'm keen on that formation.

It could be that their full backs are incredible. Problem is so are their wide players so our full backs will have plenty to occupy them going back ways.

I don't see how the strikers get service. Isak definitely won't be doing 90anyway so there'll have to be another plan unless he's going to throw Salah up top as well.

Oh, I've seen that Slot has confirmed Isak won't play much more than 45. It's more to do with him not being able to play extra time.

Not a wonderful endorsement.

I dont really get the two up front, tbh.

Id rather Salah had been given a chance in that position earlier in the season where he didnt have to cover the right flank.

Hopefully Ekitike and Isak can start finding a rhythm on the pitch.
