Liverpool have conceded more than 50 goals in a 38-game PL season for the first time.

52 and counting. Not good doubt a couple more next weekend against a very physical well drilled team playing for European football.

That ****ing line up was doomed from the start. Zero muscle, no pace or strength. No forward line, **** defence and a ****ing donkey in goal.

Add to that no character, the minimum is working hard and making it difficult for the opposition even if you have no forwards, come away with a 0-0 or grab a goal and go from there, getting torn apart and conceding **** loads of goals when hou have no forward line isn't going to help anything.

Both ineffective and not really closing the attacker down.

I have supported this team for 40 years and gone through some **** but with the possibilities we had to build from last season I have to say this is the worst season Ive experienced.

They were insipid, a shambles out of possession once more, but, hey, according to the head coach Arne Slot they are a few tweaks over the summer away from being the football team their fans will fall back in love with. That will be quite the redemption story with many having headed back up the M6 before the end.

Nah he is a young keeper that was left hung out to dry by the inept stuff from Konate and VVD in front of him.


He was at fault from two of the goals from what I watched of the highlights, but he also made three or four good stops during operiods when the score was still close.

Not seen the entire game but from a 30 minute highlight thingy it looked to me like Mamar about average, neither good nor shyte, and that Rio was the only player on the pitch that could hold his head high at the final whistle.

Every one else that started looked utterly spineless and did not even do the bare minimum of working their arses off.

They can blame the coach all they want (the players that is) after he is gone in a few weeks, but the spineless lack of effort **** is on the players.

The coach might mess up the tactics and set ups and what not, but working hard once the whistle goes is something the players control, just as basic stuff like not controlling a ball and then not passing it quickly is on the players.

Same with the clownshow stuff the two centre backs are serving up. Yes they are being exposed by the midfield, but at things like defending corners or free kicks you don't see the CBs properly organising their lines and getting players into position all that much. But plenty of mean mugging and gobbing off after we concede. Reminds me a lot of Carragher in the latter half of his career with us. He would **** something up and then start roaring and pointing at other players.
