Carra is the man. Great to see him raise to be one of the best cental defenders in the world. The whole team deserve praise for an outstandig performance.

I have never rated Finnan as class enough for Liverpool, but he was superb last night... Against world class players... He's come a long way from Fulham(League 2!!) though... Shame time aint on his side! Carra was fantastic too... Eto'o for the pool.... Nah! Over rated arrogant pratt.... would be like signing Diouf again....

Modern players look after their bodies much better these days. I reckon Finnan has at least 3 years left in his legs.

Going forward then Pennant - would have been good to see him play the full 90, give us some creative edge. Apart from that, Carragher and Agger were both solid and didn't really give Carew a sniff.
