Carra was my MOM as stated earlier in the thread, I thought Guily got in behind Arbeloa a couple of times but I thought he kept Messi very quiet.

Momo can disrupt play, he has nothing else to offer. This does not make him a fantastic player, one that will go down in our history books as being one of our all time greats.

It isn't. And that's not an opinion - it's fact, borne out by Rafa and his team's stats on the amount of ground covered. Gerrard's engine is nothing like Momo's.

You have to compare him to players like Hamann, Makalele and so on.

And in terms of passing and general skill, he is not to far of as he is still so young.

Agreed,Carra was top of his game & some other great performances but i do wish we'd stop giving away sloppy possession,it does my head in when we are under pressure,i'd like to think we're better than that,i find it very frustrating to say the least & most of our players are guilty of it.I'd love a bit more composure when the going get's tough,i'm being picky now but i wish we could kill a game without being a nervous wreck.

Thats not because his engine is any less, it simply means that Momo will be covering more ground because of his role of ball chaser, Gerrard spends some of his attacking role pushing forward and waiting for the ball come to him.
