I'll buck the trend and plump for Gerrard, a captain's performance for a change! Others around him were struggling at times, and he lifted them. Came inside and dictated play for spells.
Profligate in front of goal, but hopefully that goal will settle him!

A few strong contenders but i'd have to go with Stevie G - strong, creative, full of running, set up a goal and scored one himself.
Still not at his best but he's getting there bit by bit."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Really? I thought he only came alive after the red card.Originally posted by MorphorinoSurely it's gotta be Kuyt, brings so many other players into the games. One of his best performances I thought, pity he didn't get his goal.
Sissoko for me.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
