Crouch has 9 goals this season, sounds good enough to me. He also creates a mismatch up front. Mismatches win games as he has shown on countless occassions.

Trust me once the midfield learn to pass and as we play more on the conterattack Bellamy will perform that much better. He does look pretty useless when the other team are just sitting back, but I don't think Rafa bought him for that kind of game.

You say we need finishers and then say Robbie 'the finisher' Fowler is not good enough. Make up your mind.

Fowler's finishing isn't what it was. Bellamy isn't prolific or clinical enough and Crouch isn't prolific either. We desperately need strikers who can put the ball in the net and wide MFers / winger who can beat a man and cross a ball without consistently hitting the first defender. Sadly other than Kuyt (and Crouch ATM) we have none.

Did you see the goal he scored the other day? Proves he still has it.

Not at the required rate he doesn't.

I'd be quite happy with Defoe. His record certainly isn't prolific but I think with a little bit of the right advice from Rafa he could be. You can see the lad has talent, you only have to look at his goal on Saturday to see that. Perhaps Jol just isn't getting it out of him on a consistent basis.

For sure Jol isn't doing him any favours. I just think Bellers adds more to the squad.

We should go for Lennon instead.

Can't see spurs letting Lennon go.

He would cost too much anyway for us to spend. But it is this kind of player that makes the difference at the top.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Haven't seen too much of him. Does he have good end-product?

                        Who Lennon?
Well of late he knows where the goal is. And he is certainly not short of confidence when it comes to taking on players and beating them, has a good football brain and has pace. I think he is still a teen too. But cant see Spurs wanting to get rid though unless they want to raise funds.

(makes note to send to Rafa for future transfers).
