    Luis Garcia

When will people start to realise Luis Garcia is simply not good enough?

    He's slow
    Lightweight
    Erratic
    Terrible passer of the ball
    Careless
    Indisciplined

But for the occasional pieces of magic he is a complete liability, forever giving the ball and in suicidal positions, i love the lad for his passion and committement but he's still more cons than pros about him.

I know 'on his day' he's one of very few creative players we have but like i say that's not enough imo, certainly not enough to warrant a starting birth at a top 4 side.

Maybe not sell, keep him as a squaddy although if we get a decent bid, i'd have no qualms about letting Luis go.

When will people like you notice that he has been just about our best player this season. His movement is intelligent, he has neat skills, makes things happen, rarely gives the ball away in dangerous areas (I know you disagree here but I thin k you should watch games more closely). He is no more lightweight than say Cristiano Ronaldo.

I don't get people disliking Luis. He is a great little player, who is very good in several positions and brings much needed creative play to our team.

Well with Pennant and Gonzalez hardly setting thw world alight(particularly JP), combined with Kewell's injury problems, it would be foolish to get rid of Garcia in Jan but definetely the summer.

Marky and his little tete-a-tetes with himself.

He's worth having in the squad for Europe alone. A big game player.

He has a 1 in 4 goalscoring record from midfield and gives us a dimension that we don't otherwise have. He is often the only player that is prepared to try and beat his man when the match is stale.

Yes he has his faults , but as has been said before , if he didn't loose the ball he would be called Ronaldinho and would have cost £60m not £6m.

The main problem at the minute is the fact that our passing is slow and inaccurate. In the brief moments that that problem improves we look good eg. Gerrards goal against PSV

Fair enough, you're a big fan of Luis, i used to be, in his first season i was very close to getting his name on the home top, i'm glad i didn't, just caught on last season that this lad isn't good enough for us.
Thought he was just taking time to settle in to the English style of play but no he' still giving the ball away as much now as when he first arrived, still wasting glorious chances, still trying the impossible, still pansying about and just generally being a fcuking liability.

                        In your opinion.

The only player we have, who will try the unauthodox.

Leave him alone, you bully you.

WTF, you prefer Doyle & Barton over Garcia??!!

We are lacking in flair & unpredictability, yet you want to bring cart horses in and drop the spontaneous Garcia, jeesh, the mind boggles.

He gives the ball away much further up the pitch these days. He has improved his understanding of the PL loads since he came. These days he very rarely hangs onto the ball or tries anything fancy in our own half or even much before the final third unless he is pretty much one on one.

He is a weak tackler but last season when our midfield operated better as a unit he stood his man up well and when other midfielders were hunting the ball down this was enough to mean we could win the ball back.

He is in my opinion the second most intelligent player in our team after Xabi.

He is one of the very very few players we have who is capable of making me think 'Might get something now' when he comes off the bench.
