can't help feeling our lack of confidence and poor form, esp that of our big players has held our new recruits back. We've also had our fair share of ****e from the media.
Yes you may be right with regards to so called 'Bigger' players lack of form affecting the new players.. let's hope it quickly sorts itself out, but what Carragher said it sounds like it is gradually!

I've heard from someone close to Pennant that he's trying too hard to settle and to play well. This may be allied to the Morale situation. Apparently he's a good guy who wants to be part of the Liverpool thing. (whatever that means).

i'd loved to believe that story, and with Speedy, that seems apparent, but pennant just seems to come across as lazy to me

        i hope i'm wrong.

Lets hope so. I've seen glimpes of ability, and more effort than some on a few occasions, so he can turn it round.

heard a few people say that now. I honestly cant see it myself, i think he works quite hard. The problem I have with him is the fact that he is ****.

I've heard that Liverpool thing a few times.

And yes he is a good guy which I said all along, give him a bit longer, and if it doesn't work out then unfortunate, but people should really stop getting on his back, the whole team is playing crap, not just him.

I'd like to believe it also, I may meet him over the christmas period, in which case i'll let you know my impressions. Chances are i'll be too drunk to recognise him.

                  Nah, he works hard.
He just wants it too much and this is hampering his play.

I would go out of your way to meet him, met him myself a few times and honestly he is a very decent lad, i admit not the brightest spark, but all the same he's a great lad.

Will it be in Liverpool? I know he's coming down to Nottingham at some point, so i might see him as well.

                        I'd go with that.

Likely to be in Liverpool. He's going out with a friend of my daughters.

Ask him when hes going to take a fullback on mate. Or better still, when is he going to put a decent cross in.

maybe that's the reason for his poor form then....:whatever:

Don't worry coops, nobody escapes my drunken advice, particularly when they're youngsters like JP.
