I don't think it's a secret that Rafa want Alves and Villa. If the takeover happens then he will at least be able to make a good offer for them. Richards may be another target. We may not get them but at least Rafa can make a serius offer for them.

The point is that Rafa will probably be prepared to pay a little bit extra for players that plays in our weak positions and build the team in the same way as Wenger have done. First you get a VERY good starting XI then you can mix that with some younger players.
