Thanjk you.

He gave the interview on BBC 5live and came across very well.
Heard the interview myself and thought he just called a spade a spade. There seems to be two opinions in this thread and I imagine somewhere in between is what will happen. While I don't believe for a minute the sheikh will be writing a cheque for the club and throwing rafa 50million every transfer window I do believe DIC will turn the clubs books around in a very short time. I think they will build the stadium and make sufficient transfer funds available for Rafa as the success of LFC is in their best interests if they want to see profit. The club has needed financial and marketing expertise for a long time and we should all be happy an investment company with the portfolio DIC possesses are about to guide us through the next stage in the clubs future!!
Do you know what the creditors (due to fall within/after one year) amounts were last year?
Although Morgan played with the figures, the debt is a lot higher than most believe.
I've listened to a lot of people who have studied the books and they pretty much all say that we have a big debt but it is a completely managable debt with respect to the clubs turnover. I don't know why anyone is getting stressed about it, we all know we're in debt. I'd say Chavski are the only team not in debt.

I know the debt is ~20M. It says so on the balance sheet. Morgan was just spinning the numbers to drive the price down. He's craftily re-defined debt to mean debt + liabilities (i.e. season ticket income is a liability but we clearly won't have to pay that back).
It seems Morgan has been able to pull the wool over most of our eyes, even those of us educated by ex-Harvard Professors.
Whatever happens, we will have a new stadium which is a good thing, if its financed with debt then so be it, it's not like they can't afford to pay that debt back. And anyway, if they do, in effect, take out a **** off mortgage they'll do so because they'll wan't to leverage that debt to get a better return elsewhere (simplistic explanation) - this type of company/person does this kind of thing all the time.
I also reckon that they won't go mad throwing money at rafa because that wouldn't make financial sense but they will, however, provide him with enough cash to buy who he thinks he needs to take the club forward in order to make it a world beating brand that raises the profile of Dubia - that is their aim after all.
IMO they've seen what Abram has done to the profile of Chelsea and if he can do that to such a **** club, then they must be thinking that the sky's the limit for Liverpool (who are already known and supported around the world)
