It looks like Lucas Leiva’s nine-year spell at Liverpool could be coming to an end.
Sky sources understand Liverpool are aware of interest from Galatasaray and he’s been strongly linked with a move to the Turkish club for a fee of around £2.3m.
The 29-year-old has 12 months left on his current contract at Anfield.
A loan move, with the other club paying his wages and providing a loan fee, makes sense. He must be on at least 100k? If the loaning club pays that, it' akin to a transfer fee anyway?
Not really, Lucas must be worth £5m or so if we were to sell him, no-one is going to pay that to loan him for a year.
