The opinion on Press Box last week was that both parties (Klopp and Lucas) want an extension, but it depends on CL qualification. If we finish top 4, there will be a good chance he stays.

If we get CL he should stay Imo. Known quantity that will still get games and he appears really popular in the dressing room. Still has a lot of value to the squad

We need LOTS of bodies next season, ones that are happy on the bench but ready to die for the shirt when called. We can't fill all the required squad positions in one transfer window so keeping Lucas is imperative. I'd prefer players that are technically better but that can happen in the following windows.
