        I genuinely cant believe how badly the last regime treated some of the players. Camolli has a lot to answer for.

          Its pretty hard for him with the amount of players in midfield. Very encouraging words from Rodgers though, voicing the opionions of many fans and the small part about Henderson suggests he feels there is a good player there.

            Good player is Maxi, would work well under Rodgers but there are questions about his fitness. Can only see him being a bit part player, bit more than last season though.

              Has his fitness ever been an issue? I cant remember it being so? I mean, Bellamy and Aurelio last season were not great, but I've never had a problem with Maxi gassing at minutes like Adam. Only issue I have with him is his wildly inconsistent form.

              Obviously he is getting older now though. Which could be a problem.

                Yeah I'd like to see Maxi give BR a fair go & leave his decision as late as possible. Not deadline day mind but ....

                  Quite often disappeared in the second half, albeit after doing damage in the first half. Would be good to have in the early part of the season whilst new players settle.

                    Think we need a few older pros around. Maxi, Gerrard, Bellamy and Carra could really help out. They have looked after themselves well.

                      Yeah losing Kuyt, Bellamy and Maxi this summer would be quite a large portion of our senior players on the move.

                      I'd be pissed off if Maxi was leaving for another PL club. But the guy is 31 now, spent his time in Europe, wants to go home and spend the last few years of his football career playing for his local club. Can't begrudge him for such a move.

                        That's where we have Gerrard, Reina, Agger, Johnson etc to step into that role.

                            Our entire team often did, we seemed to have fitness issues quite often.

                                As much as I don't like Commolli, it's unfair blaming everything on him, Dalglish has to take a share of that blame.
