Like Kuyt, time for him to go.

      Good luck Maxi.

Anybody know if he has gone on a free or have we got a couple of quid for him?

Lets hope we can replace him an Kuyt with suitable quality players.

Nothing reported yet in terms of fees.

I think he had a year left on his contract (at £90k p/w?), so I'm guessing we just released him to get his salary off the books.

Bit annoying to be honest. Joined us too late and never really got much of a run in the team.

Liverpool midfielder Maxi Rodriguez has denied he is on the brink of a move away from Anfield.

Reports in South America have suggested the 31-year-old has agreed a move to Newell's Old Boys - the club where he began his career.

However, Rodriguez, who is back in his native Argentina following the birth of his second daughter, insists the speculation is wide of the mark.

"I do not know where these things come from," he said.

"I have one year left on my contract at Liverpool and did not talk to anybody."

Maxi has so far scored 17 goals in 73 appearances for the Reds.

Would love to see him being played more this season, if we can keep him.

Pretty sure I already said this, but ho hum.
