        I love his song!

It sounded awesome at Fulham last season. The Fulham fans were singing it about Dembele the other week, so they obviously thought it sounded awesome too

He even played for Argentina yesterday I think we should try and persuade him to stay, new manager, tactics and all that.

Let me leave! Maxi wants to rip up Liverpool contract after falling out of favour

Liverpool midfielder Maxi Rodriguez is considering cancelling his contract.

The Argentine is desperate to get more game time and has grown increasingly frustrated by his role on the periphery of Kenny Dalglish's first team.

The 31-year-old has one year left on his contract and his advisers are keen to discuss all options with clubs in Spain and Argentina monitoring developments.

Liverpool want to bring in at least three players this summer and could let Maxi go to balance the books.

Terrible source. No quotes. Have no idea if he has even spoken to Rodgers yet.

I still expect to see him leave.

Very similar to Kuyt Maxi wants to play regularly and we clearly cannot offer him that + his wages are high too.

Would like to see him stay as I think he can still cut it at highest level but I am not so sure that he wants to accept that he would be a squad player.

based on ability i would sooner keep maxi and flog off that overpriced useless daft **** drowning.

i know its unlikely, as maxi seems to want to go. maybe if Buck offered him more time on the pitch and called a taxi for stewie

Not so sure - I read somewhere that he had the highest passing percentage of everyone in our squad. I think Rodgers would want to keep him and see him as a very useful player to get his system up and running. Obviously it depends a lot on Maxis own feelings.

I would have thought the sale of one of Maxi and Kuyt was inevitable. Now Kuyt has gone I think the chances of maxi staying have gone up.

I think will need convincing he's part of the plans before deciding to stay. He won't want another season like last year.

I totally agree with that. I just think he is about the most suitable player we have to Rodgers system (and he scores goals which is not something Rodgers can afford to ignore IMO).
