Thanjk you.

It was a nice pass. And who says I'm writing him off? I think we all need a reality check - he is not ready to be playing week in week out. The number of times he gave the ball away today was ridiculous. I'm quite annoyed at the so called demands (if they are true which from they appear to be having read the latest interview with Rodgers) him and his agents are making, He is not worth 50k a week! And if you believe he is, then you are deluded
Agree with you to a certain extent.. couple of crucial times he lacked composure with his touch today. I think he may be getting a bit carried away on occasions.
However the best way to improve is to play.. and to play at the highest level.
It would be nice to have the option(s) to take him out of the team from time to time though.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I intentinally marked the ridiculous part of your post, saying you'll "never be a fan" of a player who is 18 years old.
He's consistently our 2nd most dangerous player. How about you count the number of times Suarez loses the ball? He does, and he does it often. You expect that from an attacking player who takes risks and tries to break down defences. If you end up being dangerous and productive, you're doing well.
In addition to that, Sterling or his agent have never been quoted saying they want 50k a week. It's speculative nonsense made up by tabloid journalists and shouldn't be used as a stick to beat him with.
The kid looks like an extremely promising talent who's only going to get better. He is already a good player at a tender age let's have a little patience with him. It's bad enough to write off a big signing after a few games, but to get on the back of a kid coming through the academy?
Ridiculous.
Do I have to be a fan of every player that you think is amazing? Am I not entitled to my own opinion? Grow up. He was extremely wasteful today and if you can't see that then one of us is deluded and I know it's not me. And you are comparing a world class talent in Suarez as well as one of the leading scorers in the EPL with Sterling? You must really be on crack.
It's not his fault though and he should not be playing every week. I think in a couple of years he will be probably be ready to make the number of appearences he currently is.
He badly needs a break to re-charge his batteries. Apart from the odd moment, he's gone very flat and that's affecting his confidence and decision making. As a prospect though, he should go all the way to the top before he's 20.

Yeah Sterling wasted chances but he got an assist. So in that respect, now on 3 assists, he has been one of our most productive players this season. He may have wasted chances but plenty players do. Suarez wastes loads of chances but then comes up with something productive. Sterling is one of the brightest talents because he has got that spark where he is capable of changing a game. With maturity he will develop this. 3 assists for a 17 year old not even halfway through the season is admirable.

I'm not bothered by the wasted chances - at least he is in right position to be taking up them chances. It was the number of times he gave the ball away - I counted at least 20 times. He couldn't cope with the intensity and pressing of West Ham. He really was a little boy amongst men today. As you say he needs time to develop this and I do think that by playing him so often as well as the over hype surrounding him will hinder his development.
