The keeper is utter sh*t. Too short, can't kick with either foot, absolute tripe ball handling skills. The weather just highlighted these deficiencies.

I'm just glad England are through so we get to see Sterling, Smith and hopefully Morgan again.
    One tit for another.

If he score in the next round then he could be worth as much as Messi If he score two then Barca would need to include Iniesta in the deal if they want him.

Messi and Iniesta to us and Sterling to Barca. You heard it here first

Eng v Germany on at Monday at 9pm. Same channel I guess.

Have to admit, getting slightly worried by Sterling's fantastic but too predictable (and seen countless times before) cutting in from the left onto his favoured right foot. Argentina defenders easily worked him out and except for a lucky goal his contribution was poor.

Hope Segura is ready to work on his left foot and getting to the byeline.

After watching the Youtube clip that Mostar kindly out on the 'pre-season' thread, I reckon the lad bears more than a passing resemblence to Maradonna in the way the ball is stuck to his feet and how well he rides challenges. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops, the signs are pretty good.

I doubt anyone in this world will agree with me when I say this but I think Toni Silva is a better player than him

He sounds like a baddy off Miami Vice.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Silva's a bit crazy, real hit and miss sort. Capable of some outrageous magic, loves a dribble, but he makes a tit of himself of times. Young though and buckets of potential.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I completely agree, nobody in the world will agree with you!

Sterling is a much better, silkier version of Silva. That's not a put down on Silva, its like saying Messi is a much better version of Iniesta.

He was very hit a miss when he first arrived but in the last year or so, he has improved a hell of a lot. Some of the skills he pulls off are totally outrageous. It looks like he's going to get tackled but somehow he manages to retain the ball and he rarely gets tackled. He can easily beat 3/4 players but what's most impressive is his ability to beat players in a crowded area. He's left footed but plays on the right mostly. He's also pretty big aswell.

Every time I've seen Silva play, he's been outstanding. Chances are he'll end up playing for some Greek in a years time

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
