    Heres hoping!
Well who knows, but yes that would definitely be the preferred scenario!

The likelihood is he will start scoring but never recapture his early form for us for them if you know what I mean. I cant see him being the player he has showed glimpses of again in all honesty, he may still be good but never again the worlds best striker. I think his passion has gone.

Crouch came from ****in Southampton who were only after being relegated and for £7m and wasn't exactly proven or known as a goalscorer.

Torres, on the other hand arrived at Chelsea for a British Transfer record fee of £50m, after scoring 65 goals in 102 appearances for Liverpool and had already in 4 major tournaments on the International stage. Rep for being one of the best strikers in Europe.

        Bit of a difference like
Apart from not scoring goals at the beginning of their club stint...

But yes it's not the same in terms of reputation and history. I hope he gets swallowed up by a hole and he ends up at Vauxhall Motors or something.

Torres' career has been rubbish, he left us just when things started to improve and he's joined a declining team. I'm sure he'll be quite happy picking up his pay for being ineffective, but he could have been one of the greatest strikers ever. His attitude is terrible - I was gutted when he left, but I'm so glad he's gone now. I reckon he was having a seriously negative impact on the other players, if he thinks Chelsea are a step up then he's incredibly stupid.

Yeah agree, he'll probably hit a purple patch and score 5 in 5 or something like that then go through another dry spell and so on.
I'd be surprised if he ever recaptures the form of his first two seasons with us.

Bloody hell, he was awesome in them 2 seasons come to think of it.

                Yeah, he was unplayable.

                'Was' being the operative word.

Torres looked shot, time will tell if he recovers the top form he showed for us in the first couple of season or if that spell with us is the exception.
We set up our whole side to get the best out of him and to begin with he delivered, Athletico, Spain and now Chelsea aren't set up soley for Torres' strengths and he looks like he is struggling

Chelsea's next few games are against some proper ****e:

                    Stoke
                    Wigan
                    West Brom
                    Birmingham

The pressure's really starting to build on him now, the media are constantly discussing how poor he's been for them. If he doesn't get off the mark in one of these games above the press will be all over him

London press criticising a Chelsea player? Won't happen

Those teams have given us a good kicking.

Sums it up perfectly how I feel. Chelsea may be a step up regarding short term prospects but the guy will never be seen by Chelsea fans in the same light as Terry, Drogba and Lampard. Chelsea don't idolise their stars, and listening to their chants the only word they say is 'Chelsea'. I'm not saying this is wrong as it means that the club comes first, something that we'd also love and understand at Liverpool, but it means he'll be forgotten in 5 years time. Had he stayed at Liverpool he would've been adored for decades after his departure regardless of how injury prone and frustrating he was at times.

I don't want his type anywhere near the club, he's better off at Chelsea if he seriously believes that as a bit part player, his contribution to the cause is as valid.

He's not even been playing well for them (which for example Crouch did without scoring). On the other hand he does seem to be a striker for whom psychology is very important - if he suddenly clicks I would expect him to be pretty much unstoppable - then again he seems even less happy at Chelsea than he was with us.

He's an arrogant cock and earning so much money that he probably believes he should have the team built around him. Sitting on the bench will seriously irk him in to a sulkathon.
