As soon as he gets out of chelsea he'll start banging them in. He's got no confidence - probably as a result of Drogba, Terry et al acting like Bea from Prisoner Cell Block H all the time. He's not scoring goals, but goals like that one vs. Utd at OT and the odd turn here and there make me believe he's far from finished.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI wouldnt touch him with a bargepole

He'd lost a yard of pace at LFC and that was what made him devastating
Hes now completely lost his head
He'll go somewhere else, the moment it doesnt go right for him his head will go down
Watch his reaction to the West Brom goal
Its a ****ing disgrace considering the **** hes served up since going thereBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

It is not just in his head.
His burst of pace (first step) is gone, his dribbling technique is a joke, his touch is non existent and his drive is shameful.
It's so pathetic to watch him these days as he looks like a shadow of a player he once were and he is just now getting in his prime..Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

He scored 9 for us in the first half of last season after he had lost that burst of pace.Originally posted by Mostar View Post

He was never the same player since his knee injury but the lack of burst of pace is more evident since he left for Chelsea where system is not set up to get the best out of him.Originally posted by ronanm View PostHe scored 9 for us in the first half of last season after he had lost that burst of pace.Last edited by Mostar; 08-03-12, 02:51 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

But I don't believe Torres left for the money. His reasons were genuine, but he was just misguided. His Agent forced it IMO, probably for the money.
It will always remain a what could have been situation when I think of Torres at Liverpool."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley
