What a shame we never saw how him and Suarez would have teamed up. Could have become one of the great partnerships. I bet if Torres could rewind time he would not make the same decision again.

I just resent the whole episode, how sudden it happened and especially what Torres said immediately after he left. He really did turn the knife in and that is still hard to take, especially seeing the love, the genuine love he had from almost every single Liverpool fan.
What is the saying? You don't know a good thing until it is gone, or something like that. I am sure that is what he feels.

Absolutely mate. I wouldn't want Torres back now but I'd have loved to have seen him and Suarez up top for the last few months of the season.
I think Torres still scored something like nine in 20 league games for us (including four under Dalglish), so with them both up front we could've sneaked fourth.

It sounds sad but I really thought he was genuine with what he was said about us. Had he left for Barca during the summer of 2010 or 2011 then he'd have gone with our blessing. But the way he left, the team he went to and some of his comments after have been cuntish.
I could've understood if he'd have gone to City or even United because at least he'd have been challenging for titles - Chelsea won't win any more than we will over the next three years. I don't know if he regrets going to Chelsea, however I do think he wonders "what if".
you know he'd find that extra spring in his step knowing pepe is here and he's back in front of the kop knowing these fans adored him!he'd be jumping at the bit knowing he's got a second chance and working with kenny, suraez, gerrard i think it would be to our benefit if we get a minimum of 15 goals out of him ....lets face it goal scoring is our no.1 problem
tow biggest transfer cock ups to date torres for £50million and carroll for £35million...neither look like being resolved
