      Aye.

Everything he said points in that direction and there is no reason to think differently.

He'll never be as deadly as he was with us and it is great feeling to know that we have seen the best of him.

I still need closure for Torres.....and that means him leaving Chelsea and going back to Spain. It is like having your missus walk out on you and move in with the guy across the road....you still see her and think of the good times....

But surely you could take some delight in seeing her looking miserable with him.

Yes, but the saddest thing with Torres is that I genuinely feel he could have been amazing again under King Kenny and with Luis. It is a case of what could have been. I am delighted he has flopped of course, but it was all so unnecessary really.

I think Torres' movement would have - and still could I sadly believe - been perfect for the way we play at the moment. Even with SG stuck back in CM, there's enough happening around the box with Bellamy, Johnson, maybe Downing and above all Suarez to give Torres enough of the half chances that loads of his goals came from. He wasn't just about that burst of pace tpo get past a defender. Torres would be in the right space to score from headers, acute angles, pull backs into the box... He was great for knowing when to attack the ball and when to just make the right space by taking a step back. Sadly, Carroll has none of these attributes.

**** it - I felt betrayed when he left, now I feel sorry for him cos he left a new and improving set-up for a ****ed up one and he is definitely collateral damage in the whole weird Mexican standoff between the dressing room mafia and Abramovich and AVB. If he came back, one goal set up between himself and Suarez and all would be forgiven for me. That's why he should **** off back to Spain so I don't constantly have these maybe wanks.

Imho it's neither, where they suffer most is diagonally.

Roberto Soldado has scored twice as a second-half sub (& missed a pen) for Spain today. Torres likely to miss Euro 2012 at this rate

He did complete his hat trick in the end

Unless he starts scoring he has no chance of making that squad. Spain have so much talent that they do not need him.

Pedro is a cert, Llorente is a cert, Soldado is a cert. Villa is expected to also be fit. Negredo possibly. Then they have players like Iniesta, Febregas, Silva and Mata who can all play in a front 3

If you consider all of those options, he is miles away from getting back into the team. He's not scored in 5 months ffs

After Soldado's hat-trick today Torres will not be in Spain's squad for Euro '12

It goes from bad to worse. How much worse can it actually get?

He'll be a wreck at home, confidence low. His wife may seek advice on how to get the man she loves back. She turns to his captain for friendly advice but JT turns up on the doorstep with a splash of Old Spice and only one thing on his mind...
