Thanjk you.

he spent longer sorting his hair out/fixing his hair band while stood on the touch line waiting to come on that he did on the ball once he got on the pitch.
you could see him then glance up at the video monitor and he must have though, "oh ****, look at that nervous fanny. oh ****, thats me!"

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
Gerrard was as much of an influence on Torres's form at Liverpool as Benitez was in focussing our attacking strategy on him finishing. Gerrard supplied him.
That said, with Benitez's knowhow, and the skill and guile of Oscar, Mata and Hazard, if he continues to misfire with all these resources behind him, he really will be finished.
I can see him improving under the one manager who has known how to make him tick though.

So what you're hinting at is essentially: "Gerrard to Chelsea" Thought better of you Dan, I really did
I think the blow of Rafa going to Chelsea would be softened if Torres continued to be the utter ****e that he currently is. Conversely, if Torres returned to some kind of form under Rafa, the blow would be infinitely compounded.
Rafa and Torres might work well together, but there are 10 other egos players on the pitch and I reckon they could not give a **** about them. So, as you were Fernando.

On the plus side, if Benitez does go to Plastic FC, we won't have another Torres will he / won't he come back to Liverpool "debate" in this thread.
Well over it...........couple of lines on an internet forum only took 5 seconds.
I can afford it.
In fact, I'd forgotten about him again, and this thread, until I clicked on the Football Forum just now, but I can spare another few seconds :-
God, he was **** last night.....'the shadow' should be his new nickname.

A few months ago, Chelsea supporters were wildly defensive of Torres and now they've all turned against him. A lot of them are even more incensed by Rafa's appointment because to them it means another extended spell of Torres at the front of their attack. Strange how things change. That said, if he starts scoring they'll all obviously change their tune.
