It just shows how desperate we are since Luis left and Sturridge got crocked. Just now the answer is Lambert. Torres is arguably a slightly better answer than that!

What about on a pay per goal scenario?... Figure out what an average strike rate for a decent premier striker is, and pay him a pro rata... If he doesn't score, he 'starves'.. simples

Oh, and he has to grow his girlie locks again...

If he can't cut it in Italy, the slowest high level league in Europe, then he truly is finished.

Seems a bit odd that he's available though. I thought he signed for Milan on a long term loan deal. Is that being terminated?

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is plotting a shock move to sign former Reds striker Fernando Torres, 30, who is on loan at AC Milan from Chelsea. (Daily Star)

At least he'll make Ballotelli look world class.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

If we are considering this it shows how desperate we've become
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

**** right off with this ****. We sell the best striker in the world for £75m and replace him with.

                        Fernando Torres

**** right off. I'd rather we give one of the lads in the U21's a chance than these two gimps.

You never know, maybe Gerrard is pushing for it. He loved playing with him.

Well then Gerrard is a bigger problem than we realise.

Having said that, I'd question the manager's sanity if it's his decision alone.

Another one for the History channel, we do love to look backwards with rose tinted spectacles don't we...
I'm surprised most Reds manage to get on in their day to day lives with this constant hankering after the past, gets a bit ridiculous at times especially when you're surrounded by Mancs and Bitters all the time!

                                Eh?

Firstly, I'd take these reports with a bucket full of salt. It just seems like lazy journalism to me.

Secondly, I don't think anyone here seriously wants us to re-sign Torres. Relax.
