    It's the fact that the entire team were kids though. When the likes of Trent and Gomez made debut it was with an experienced first team.

    I wonder what sort of win bonus the young lads were on?

    Yep he's just a superb clubman. Nobody would've batted an eyelid if he'd have gone off enjoying himself on a beach somewhere, but he just ****ing loves footy and the club so much that he goes and helps out the kids. Guys an absolute gem.

    Virtually the same age? I know we're old and that but breaking footballers down into decades isn't really fair.

    There’s a few 16 yr olds though yeah & 4 18 yr old I think I read. And these guys arent around the first team players all the time. Stop underplaying the importance of the legend ffs

    He’s a legend for sure both on & off the pitch. That would have meant the world to those kids to have him there & believing in them to get a result for the Club. I didn’t think I could respect the man any more than I already did & then today happens.
