I can't see how the Saudis could just let him leave for **** all to be honest. I'm obviously naive but they paid £12m for him and essentially committed circa £100m on the Jordan Henderson "project" (the stupid ****ers)

The rhetoric seems to be that "Jordan doesn't like it any more and he thinks he might come home". Surely the Saudis can say "get ****ed, you signed a contract" as for players to leave at the first opportunity makes their league look like a bag of ****e. So unless the Saudis think Jordan isn't the real deal as a player or a "brand ambassador" for the league and they are happy for him to **** off now (in that scenario, they probably throw 20m of their monopoly money at Henderson to just **** off) , then the stories in the media are bull****.

I expect this will end up with Henderson joining Newcastle on an 18 month loan deal where PIF-owned Newcastle pay him something like 50k per week and PIF-owned whoever-the-****-he-plays-for make up the difference.

    Legacy my arse.

The same thing could happen to Firmino and Fabinho.

I'm a sentimental fart normally but there's no way that anyone who left in the summer should be returning to the club. In a playing capacity or otherwise.

And as for intelligence. Is there a footballer on the planet who has demonstrated a greater lack of intelligence in the past 9 months as Jordan Henderson? I hate to say it, but I don't think he has any. He's got so much wrong, and so obviously to everyone else too.

I actually pity the poor (not poor) ****er.

Whether he went for the money is irrelevant to us now.
Klopp had told him he wasn't going to be a starter, and then the question of continuing as captain may have also been discussed.
Henderson felt it better to go out as captain rather than just carry the cones, and that's a good thing because he was spiralling into ****ness.

He should have been binned a year earlier.

Has he already completed his stated objectives of growing the league and opening up the country?

That's the market he's in now. Either earn a realistic wage, or take the mega sportswash dirty dollar.

As for Hendo. Oh dear. Maybe Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Luton or one of those types of teams might be desperate enough to consider him.

I'm not sure Hendo adds anything at PL levels, he'd not have the impact of a Barkley as he was drilled to carry out a role for years, and if that role doesn't exist he'd struggle.
