But then we dont see what they are like off the pitch, which may have some bearing.
I think losing Hendo might force us to buy u21 or English.
I have the feeling that, in the dressing room etc, VVD is seen as royalty but not as a leader/motivator of players.

I don't think anyone here is surprised by thatOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostI’d choose Robbo ahead of Virgil.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the leadership group now as things were VVD was next in line after Henderson and Milner, but that was as voted by the players obviously we have some new players so if there is another vote that may change completely. VVD and TAA are the names being mentioned most, for me VVD's leadership seems to have deminished somewhat as his form has dipped he looked more of a leader when before his injury, he seems quieter now. I don't think Trent is suited either at least at the moment, maybe he will grow into it in time. For me the two contenders are probably Alisson and Robertson, they are the two I would most want representing me if I were in the team. Problem with Alisson is he is a GK and I'm not keen on GK as captain, so that means I agree with Buzzo. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I just don't see it. Robertson has been integral to our success and although his form was patchy last season, I think he's a regular starter in whatever team klopp puts out.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostNot if we're playing the new system and sign a LCB he won't be.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He’s really not ideal for that system at all. If we go back to asking the fullbacks to play as before, then yes he’s still a starter. He is another who looks past his best though, even in his natural position.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI just don't see it. I wonder if robbo was captain, would he need to tone down the ****housery. I think about stuff like when he laughed in Pickfords face- it’s the kinda stuff that the ref will tell the captain to sort him out, but if he’s the captain might not quite get away with it. Either way, I want to see more of it, hahaI don't tip
