I’ve wanted to say this for a while regarding Henderson’s transfer but there’s another train of thought to it. It’s quite possible , to quote a phrase, that his legs have gone. Actually, I’d say it’s quite likely this could be the case taking last season into account. So is his move his last ‘gift’ to the club? £20m is a lot of money and will aid to find his successor.

None of this is taking into account the moral side of the move , mind. Just a selfish financial point of view.
