some people just can't help but buy into the fake disingenuous virtual signalling some footballer do. Most of them are Lea brains, greedy and full of ****. 12m quid with add ons, we'll take it.

I don’t think I saw him as a moral beacon, but he was at the front and centre of all things progressive in the men’s game over last few years. So yeah. It’s frustrating to see.
      *Except Michael, who died.

From a LFC point of view, a club giving us £12m for Henderson and getting his wages off the books is a dream.

Henderson ditching his principles (or having faked them) and the whole Saudi thing though, grim.

His comments justifying going there are going to be hilarious

He should do a Koulibaly and just admit it's for the money.

that would be brilliant. Refreshing honesty.

Who’s the new captain going to be?

Why the anger. It's weird. He hasn't gone on strike. Klopp wouldn't have allowed him to travel if he was being disruptive. He's a footballer, they aren't very bright, his people got him fronting a rainbow cause, now he's taken a shed load of money. It's hardly the same as the Pope becoming a Muslim overnight.

I don’t think the sentiment is anger, rather disapproving head shaking. It’s the internet in 2023, even people posting typos are cunts.

Look up what he wrote about why he chose to support Rainbow Laces.

Not hard to understand why that community would feel betrayed by him now.

                                Not angry just disappointed.

Its an incredible kick in the teeth for the LBGT+ community

The rainbow laces campaign did incredible work and he was at the forefront of it.

He's now ****ing off to play in a country where homosexuality is outlawed and if caught practicing you could be executed by the regime there.

The thought process behind his move is a hard circle to square.

His words from less than a year ago now ring exceptionally hollow
