Romano saying Hendo has agreed and it's between the clubs. He'll go IMO.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Oooooh drama, lovely stuff sell Hendo and Fab. Get my mobility in and we still have leaders everywhere. Keep Thiago.

Yeah but we will be starting the season with what is essentially a completely new midfield none of whom will have played together before this preseason, having a unit that understands one another is what you need to hit the ground running, failing that players with experience in there are key, we will have neither.

Like them or not Henderson and Milner where huge characters and the leaders of the squad, those other guys might have experience at the club or with their national side, but the fact is at LFC they have always been able to 'hide' behind Henderson or Milner, if they go, there is nowhere to hide, they have to step up, it's a different dynamic which will take some getting used to as a team, and requires them to sink or swim as leaders of this side...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think Hendo moving to SA will hurt the club's brand and any supportive messages we put out. They'll be as believable as a Tory's support for low income earners.

Probably why we have been looking at guys who have shown themselves capable of leading at their other clubs and for their countries.

Szoboszlai is the captain of the Hungarian national team, MacAllister is apparantly the leader on and off the pitch type for club and country.

Thuram, Kone and Tchouameni all have reps for having old heads on young shoulders.

Think we are very much looking at guys who bring a level of maturity as well as their footballing abilities.

Should leave the same way Milner etc did. Not like this.

All true mate but if you are a "leader", "captain" etc you also have to be performing to a high level, I think we can both agree Hendo and Fab haven't been doing that for quite some time. Gerrard was a leader by action when he was a captain, Hendo was a leader by example. Gerrard hardly talked but was world class and dragged us through for years. Hendo never had that kind of ability but busted a gut and talked to players. Both were effective in their own way.

I think Klopp for the most part targets leaders, players who set the tone on the pitch and have a good head off the pitch. I completely get that we are maybe looking at a complete mid change but in all fairness, could it have been any worse? We need a change, it just depends on who comes in imo.

We should goes balls deep for Caicedo. We would crucify teams.

Last season we had a group that knew each other well and have played many games together, and for the most part they weren’t good enough.

All of the leadership and experience that these players supposedly bring wasn’t particularly evident either.

Ideally we would have rebuilt the midfield in stages over the past few years and phased the new players in season by season. But we ignored that opportunity.

I think we’re at a stage now where it doesn’t particularly harm us to make wholesale changes. It’s probably preferable to the alternative of persisting with too many players in the squad who are past their prime.
